[English]

Transportation is a means of travel, passenger transportation, highways, and a communication network for the delivery of products, which provides a vital link in the supply chain. For this reason, transportation activities are an important component for economic development, because through mobility and access, it causes the transfer of goods and services between producers and demanders and plays an effective role in the growth of the national economy; Among these, one of the important challenges is to study the effects of the transportation system on the environment and society. In view of the above, the present study has been written with the aim of presenting a strategic model for evaluating the performance of the effects of the transportation system on sustainable development and tries to address the main question: what effect does the transportation system have on sustainable development? Answer. This research has been done by descriptive-survey method and its statistical population has been purposefully selected. A researcher-made questionnaire was used to collect data, the reliability of which was calculated by SPSS software, 0.977, and since the data were normal, confirmatory factor analysis using LISREL software was used to analyze them. The main results of the research are as follows: Economic growth has the most impact, followed by economic ability, quality of life; Production services; customer services; Congestion; Water consumption; air pollution; Energy use; Greenhouse gas emissions; Water and soil pollution; accident; Substance use; Heat pollution; Visual pollution and noise pollution affect sustainable development.
