The present research examines the structural factors affecting the mutual trust of commanders and other subordinates in the military organization. Since one of the key factors affecting organizational trust is the organizational structure, and the promotion of trust in structural dimensions must be manifested in order to be institutionalized, this hypothesis was formed that there is a meaningful relationship between the dimensions of organizational structure and trust.
This research is applied in terms of purpose and in terms of method, it is a part of descriptive research and it is a branch of correlation and field study, which was carried out in a survey method. The statistical population included 231 commanders and other officers, whose statistical sample was estimated to be 140 using Morgan's table, and 125 questionnaires were collected and analyzed with statistical software using the sampling method used. The result of the Pearson correlation test indicated the existence of a positive correlation between the two dimensions of formality and focus with trust and an inverse correlation between the dimension of complexity and trust, and all statistical assumptions were confirmed at the confidence level of 95%. The result of multiple linear regression showed that among the dimensions of organizational structure in the first step, complexity predicted mutual trust and explained 13% of the variance of this variable. In the second step, formality was added in complexity and both were predictors of mutual trust and explained 22% of the variance of this variable, and concentration had no predictive power
