The study of the current state of the national media is showing that the existing media system does not meet expectations. The main issue of the present research is “Lack of Codified Regulations on the Sphere of the Media of the Islamic Republic of Iran” with aim of achieving the Strategic Model of Media-System Engineering of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Selected method for this paper is Exploratory, with a qualitative approach using data Grounded Theory for analysis, provided prescriptive analisys and then by referring to the media experts, while seeking their opinions on the current status of the media sought out their strategies and viewpoints on how to exit the current disarray.
Based on the research results, the strategic model of media engineering of the Islamic Republic of Iran includes four dimensions of semantic, content, structural and contextual, as well as eighteen components, below which fifty-four indicators are defined in the form of strategic model. It is obvious that in order to re-engineer the media system, the existing structures should be redesigned based on the principles and intellectual foundations of the Islamic Revolution and the requirements of the day,and its approaches should be fundamentally revised in the face of the audience and the media. For this purpose, firstly it is necessary to formulate the executive mechanisms of the media system and take practical steps based on it. Actions, which facilitate media navigation in executive directions.
