Development and progress in the field of computer games requires long-term and future-oriented planning under the title of "strategic plan" and the presentation of the said plan is dependent on the detailed and up-to-date knowledge of theories in this field. "Narratology" and "Ludology" can be considered two main approaches in the theories related to computer games. The purpose of this study is to compare these two approaches and to know the considerations of theories in this field. The current research is of qualitative type and the method of data collection is based on library and documentary methods. The results of this research show that the two approaches "Narratology" and "Ludology" despite having differences of opinion in many points, but they are not in conflict with each other and promoting the movement of discourse between these two approaches, makes their supporters put more effort show that a more scientific space for the emergence of theoretical supports in the field of computer games will be formed.
