This research was conducted with the aim of investigating the effect of organizational intelligence components on strategic surprise in the logistics of one of the defense organizations. The method of this research is quantitative in terms of type; In terms of purpose, it is practical and in terms of research strategy, it is a descriptive survey. The population-statistics of the present research includes all officials and expert experts with bachelor's degrees and above and more than 10 years of service working in the logistics department of the studied organization (180 people). The sample size in this research was determined as 115 people using the Karjesi-Morgan table and the corresponding questionnaire was randomly distributed among the community members and the number of 103 analyzable questionnaires was used as the basis for testing the hypotheses of the research. The data collection tool was a questionnaire whose validity was confirmed by content validity method and its reliability was confirmed by Cronbach's alpha test. To check the normality of the data distribution, the Kolmogrof-smirnov test was used, and to analyze the hypotheses, correlation, multiple regression and one-sample mean test were used. The findings showed that in addition to the significant effect of organizational intelligence on preventing strategic surprise, there is also a significant relationship between the organizational intelligence and strategic surprise management. Creating a vision has the most impact and employee participation has the least impact.
