Objective: Today, knowing the ideal governance and identifying and explaining its basic features and components is considered one of the most important subjects and topics in the field of political science in all schools. Paid.
Methodology: This study is a descriptive-analytical type in which it was conducted using the library method and using the technique of scanning books, articles and other scientific resources.
Findings: The results show that the model of Islam regarding the issue of optimal governance has all the components and indicators proposed by Western thinkers and experts, including the model presented by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the World Bank. (2007) is included. In addition to that, desirable governance from the point of view of Islam has other components such as monotheism and spirituality, moral development and piety in society based on Islamic Sharia and the realization of Islamic rules, strengthening military power and creating order and security, populism and respect for people, protection of The rights of the people and guaranteeing their legitimate freedoms, emphasizing the right of sovereignty and accepting the right of the people in the form of a republic and democracy, paying attention to the comfort and economic well-being and also the material needs of the people and carrying out cultural reforms). Therefore, it can be said that the Islamic model of optimal governance is more comprehensive in terms of components and indicators. In the perspective of the western paradigm and western thinkers, we are faced with a purely "man-centered" approach, but in the paradigm of Islam, we are faced with a God-centered and monotheistic perspective. In the eyes of Islam, governance is a means to realize high goals, so being in charge of government is inherently dignified and not a position. But in the western view, the goal of good governance in the sense of development, especially in the economic and material dimension, is extra-worldly and considers the justice-oriented progress of societies as the precursor to the afterlife happiness of society and countries.
