Developing a strategic intelligence model as a tool for developing strategic management in the Ministry of Sports and Youth

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop a strategic intelligence model as a tool for developing strategic management in the Ministry of Sports and Youth The present study used a mixed research method to answer the research questions. Participants in the Delphi section consisted of 12 experts familiar with the research topic. Sampling was done theoretically. In the quantitative section to design the strategic intelligence model, questionnaires of 133 questions designed from the Delphi section were randomly distributed among 210 members of the staff Ministry of Sports and Youth and then their answers were analyzed. The results of the research hypotheses show that there is a significant relationship between each of the variables of macro-environmental intelligence, organizational resource intelligence, competitive intelligence, organizational process intelligence, strategic intelligence of managers and knowledge management with strategic intelligence.Strategic intelligence in the Ministry of Sports and Youth consists of different types of intelligence that create a synergy and interaction between macro environmental intelligence, organizational resource intelligence, competitive intelligence, organizational process intelligence, strategic managerial intelligence and knowledge management to Provide value-added information and knowledge to make strategic decisions for the organization. Given the importance of this issue, sports decision makers are advised to use strategic intelligence to implement the ministry's overall goals in maintaining competitive advantage, increasing productivity, as well as improving strategic decisions
