Abstract
The role of countries in implementing effective economic diplomacy is influenced by their economic diplomacy development policy-making model. This research, through a multiple case study methodology, studies the development of economic diplomacy in Brazil and Turkey, which have experienced successes in this field in recent years. After studying, 27 subcategories and 9 main categories were identified regarding the development of Brazilian economic diplomacy and 30 subcategories and 9 main categories regarding the development of Turkish economic diplomacy. The ultimate Purpose of the research is to extract guidelines in the form of policy statements or propositions derived from the combination and analysis of these categories that indicate the conditions, strategies, and appropriate actions for the development of economic diplomacy in Iran. These guidelines include include the purposeful use of free trade, internationalism in line with comprehensive economic diplomacy, purposeful integration of the national economy with the international economic system, attracting foreign investment, establishing political stability and sustainable security, structural and rules reforms, especially the development and support of privatization, interaction and cooperation with regional and international organizations and institutions, economic stability and reform of the economic governance system, Improving domestic manufacturing capacity and supporting national production.
