Abstract
The concept of a resistance economy has emerged as a strategic framework for economic policymaking and management in Iran, aiming at resilience, crisis mitigation, and the reform of inefficient economic structures and institutions. Its ultimate goal is to ensure sustainable growth, strengthen economic resilience indicators, and achieve the objectives outlined in the country’s 20-year Vision Plan. Enhancing the productivity of production factors and promoting it through economic growth, social development, and greater competitiveness across economic sectors play a pivotal role in realizing the objectives of a resistance economy. This study examines the position of productivity within this framework, identifies practical strategies for enhancing productivity in various economic sectors, and statistically analyzes its changes in recent years. The findings indicate that productivity improvement can significantly contribute to the achievement of resistance economy goals, with the most substantial effect observed through productivity-driven growth in value-added.
