Abstract

Abstract
The successful performance of the armed forces depends on the required ability  and capabilities of the staff. In this research, Defense Readiness  Development Model of Armed Forces Staff has been proposed From the perspective of Imam Khamenei. This research is qualitative by data type, is Developmental research by goal type, and is basod on Grounded Theory Approach by method. The research community includes the contents of the statements and commands of the Supreme Leader for the armed forces during June 1989 to March 2012. In the final model, the role of armed forces in defense of national security and independence, aspirations and values of the Islamic Republic of Iran was considered as causal conditions and Eight components for the readiness of the Armed Forces staff and four strategies for promoting these readiness were introduced which the consequence of this is to effectively play the role of the armed forces as a manifestation of national authority, resistance and authority of Islam. The implementation of the strategies for the promotion of spirituality, the development of military, knowledge and technology capabilities and the promotion of Islamic culture can enhance the readiness of the staff of the armed forces and enable them to effectively carry out their mission.
