Investigating the impact of change management on the layers of business intelligence to improve the relationship between university and industry (case study: Science and Technology Park of Tehran University)

Abstract

Universities and industries have decision-making processes that enable the achievement of organizational goals. Currently, data analysis plays an important role in generating knowledge, obtaining important patterns and predictions for formulating strategies. Since the improvement of the relationship between the university and the industry is considered to be one of the key factors affecting the sustainable development of technology. In this regard, the present research examines the impact of change management on the layers of business intelligence to improve the relationship between academia and industry. The current research method consists of two parts. The first part deals with the identification of indicators and their coding with the help of interviews with elites. In this part of the research, the tool of interviewing experts will be used. Thematic analysis method was used to code the data. The statistical population of this part of the research, according to its subject area, includes professors and specialists in the field of communication with industry, whose number was estimated to be 12 by the statistical analysis and they were selected according to the available method. The second part examines the framework with structural equations. In this research, the sample size was calculated for 152 people and the desired data was collected through a face-to-face questionnaire. The results show that at a significance level of 0.05, change management affects all layers of business intelligence. It has a significant impact on improving the relationship between university and industry.
