Examining the role of competent governance in improving the quality of the environment using the method of structural equations

Abstract

The environment has been raised more than before as an important component at different levels of a society and over time it has become the main concern of the macro management of all societies. The current research tries to provide a model of good governance by focusing on the environment. For this purpose and due to the lack of background, experts were used to identify the model. A sample of 10 experts was formed and 30 factors were extracted using in-depth interviews. Then the factors were validated using factor loading analysis. The results showed that the factors are significant at the 5% error level. Factors were weighted using the regression coefficient in the structural equation model. Then 30 factors were divided into 6 main factors and each main factor included several sub-factors. Also, the results showed that the development of sustainable cities and villages has been identified as the most important factor in the opinion of experts, and the weakest factors for approving applicable laws are in the field of environment, transparency and development of civil society, which shows that these factors have are less important.
