Abstract

Today, cyberspace has emerged as a new territory and emerging areas in the fields of defense and security. In our country, following other countries in the world, cyberspace is recognized as a territory or military arena, as a result of which, cyberspace is organized alongside land, sea, air and space and is considered a combat organization. In such an environment, the development of communication infrastructure and connection of heterogeneous networks with the simultaneous expansion of useful and diverse services at the level of NM organizations along with their intertwined structure has led to the growth of vulnerabilities and security threats in cyberspace. In view of the above, the present study seeks to provide a model for classifying the threats and opportunities of cyberspace. For this purpose, using the literature and theoretical foundations and interviews with experts, a questionnaire consisting of 60 questions was developed and a statistical population of 140 people answered the questionnaire questions. The reliability of the measurement tool by Cronbach's alpha test was 0.95 and its validity was confirmed by three instruments. Based on the analysis of the data, the threats and opportunities of cyberspace can be classified into cognitive, informational and physical dimensions.
