Identifying key factors affecting research and development capabilities in high-tech Aerospace Industries and ranking them with fuzzy network analysis process

Abstract

Today, research and development and activities related to the acquisition of new advanced technologies around the world is a major industrial activity. Identifying and paying attention to the research and development capabilities of the aerospace industry due to its cost and time is considered as one of the important pillars for the success of innovative organizational activities. In the present study, the effective factors on research and development capabilities in high-tech Aerospace Industries have been investigated. The research is applied in terms of purpose and is a descriptive survey method. In this regard, the factors affecting the capacity of research and development based on literature review and the opinion of aerospace industry experts in nine dimensions and in two general and specific categories were extracted and a questionnaire approved in the statistical community of research centers distributed and results by confirmatory factor analysis and structural equations and Smart-PLS software have been examined. The results show the strategic, organizational and managerial dimensions, human resources, financial resources and infrastructure in the form of general factors and the dimensions of project management, networking, system engineering and commercialization in the form of specific factors on research and development capabilities in high-tech Aerospace Industries have Positive and significant effect, then the dimensions of capabilities were prioritized based on fuzzy network analysis method and by Super Decision software, respectively human resources, system engineering, infrastructure, financial resources, strategy, networking, organizational and managerial, project management and commercialization.
